Kyaw Zay Ya

Kyaw Zay Ya is a PhD student studying in the business management program, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. As a doctoral student emphasizing on behavioral decision making in operations management, he has witnessed the chaos of weak national economics of Myanmar, his native country. He was particularly fascinated by the fact that several complex problems can be solved by applying engineering principles together with skills in social sciences. He is from Mechanical Engineering background who has learned engineering management and operations management and has worked in the international trading (automobile importing to Myanmar) for a few years, and thus, he decided to pursue further on what he has learned throughout academic and work experiences to be a management scientist. To date, he has published eight research papers in the international journals. His research focus is operations management, particularly logistics and supply chain, and behavioral decision making.
